Come on-- that was such a horrible name. Even if the cars didn't look like geezer boxes (which they did), that name screams, "Yesterday's Model." Yes, I know it was named for the founder, and yes I know they ran a "not your father's Oldsmobile" campaign in a last-gasp effort to entice a new generation, but at some point you just have to concede it was a crummy name for something that's supposed to be modern.
