Venerable Hockey Brands With Puck and Pluck

March 4th, 2008 · No Comments

We found a great thread on defunct hockey brands on the website www.goaliestore.com. Knowing very little about hockey brands, we aren’t sure about the quality of these name brands. However, it is a good exercise to go looking to fan boards to find brands that are underutilized and authentic. Message boards always have fans that are more ardent, and thus tend to know the soul of good brands.

Here, a few brands from the site. Some are still around, in various incarnations:

  • VIC pads
  • Daoust skates
  • Bayard
  • KOHO
  • STRI
  • DR Quantum
  • Litespeed
  • Cooper
  • Josa
  • Heaton
  • Aeroflex
  • The old CanStar Cooper logo
  • Winwell
