Fjord 40, a Cool Boat

Fjord Boats 40 feetNORWAY – So it’s an awful time to launch a new boat model, but a new model might just sell if it as good looking as the Fjord 40, a Norwegian powerboat designed by Patrick Banfield and Jim Wilshire. It was 2008 European Powerboat of the Year.

First, we don’t like the designs of most powerboats; they look like drug-runners. The Fjord, however, looks like a zoom-zoom power cruiser. It looks modern but classic, and not too retro.

It retails for (gag) a half million, which these days might even buy TWO McMansions in Florida. But it’s so good looking, they might just sell a few. Fjordboats.com

By the way, if you like retro campers, read our Guide to Retro Style Campers and Travel Trailers.
