WASHINGTON – AAMCO, the iconic car care company, selected Qorvis Communications as its new agency of record. Qorvis will lead all creative development for AAMCO’s television and radio advertising, interactive marketing and public relations.”As only AAMCO’s fifth agency in almost 45 years, it is an honor to be leading the creative for such a renowned American brand,” said Qorvis Managing Partner Michael Petruzzello in a press release to Marketwire. The more than $20 million national advertising and creative campaign is slated to launch in April 2009.

Established in 1962, AAMCO Transmissions is the world’s largest chain of transmission specialists and one of the leaders in complete car-care services. AAMCO has more than 900 automotive centers throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

“Qorvis clearly demonstrated why it is an emerging leader in its region for advertising,” Mike Ganjei, Chairman of National Creative Committee for AAMCO, said in a press release.

“This looks to be a strong partnership,” said Jack Bachinsky, Vice President of Marketing for AAMCO.
