BOAC Offices, Glasgow in 1970

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND – In the 1970s, BOAC used firms like the architecture firm Gillespie Kidd and Coia to do its regional work. Here, an office in Glasgow. The city ticket office is almost forgotten these days, but were ubiquitous for all carriers until the mid-1980s.

If you recall, BOAC was renamed British Airways in the 1970s.

Are there many city ticket offices that survive outside of major cities like London and New York?

By the way, last we checked BOAC is a brand available in the brand trademark service www.brandvault.net.

Unless I am missing something, when I click on the link of brandvault.com all I get is a browser window with the words “It work’s!” on it.

The link should be working now. I had the wrong link but it should go through now. Good luck.
