It seems that some brands don't learn well from their past mistakes. Yet, while Johnson and Johnson has announced that they will forgo wood pallets as a way to prevent this outbreak in the future, the wood pallet companies have remained largely mute on the subject. They know that their product is dangerous. In fact an industry spokesperson said that “nobody checks” whether banned chemicals are used in making or treating wooden pallets as they come into the U.S. in Transport Topics last week.
