We found there is another “brand” that is becoming extinct. It’s the English village church.
We read that some in larger cities, Anglican churches have become mosques, and that is sad. Mostly, these churches just get abandoned, and sold off and deconsecrated. For instance, St. Mark’s in Mayfair might be turned into a spa and yoga center. This is despite the fact that an evangelical congregation is using the church, and it has the support of an influential group of actors in London.
This year, London’s Daily Telegraph set up a Save our Churches campaign. Over 7,000 have signed the petition.
