Hollywood Palladium Comes Back To Life

SUNSET BOULEVARD – The historic Hollywood Palladium, once the home to radio shows and even Lawrence Welk, has been restored by Coe Architecture International and is now run by Live Nation. It reopened in October 2008, with a show by Jay-Z. Coe has a list of stories relating to its renovation on its website, www.coearchitecture.com.

Even to an East Coast television watcher, the Palladium is quite well-known.

Upcoming stuff includes Infected Mushroom, Pennywise, Disturbed and Dropkick Murphys.

The building was designed by the well known L.A. architect Gordon Kaufmann, who designed the master plan for Scripps and did society work like the Greystone Mansion.
