Frankies Want To Bring Back the BeeBo Cavatelli Maker

Beebo CavatelliBROOKLYN – The two restaurateur/writers of Frankies Spuntino Kitchen Companion have a favorite missing piece of kitchen equipment that they want to bring back.

Profiled in New York magazine, Frank Falcinelli and Frank Castronovo want to bring back the BeeBo cavatelli maker.

Castronovo: It went out of business. I want to find out how to make it, and manufacture it, and I want to put our name on it.

Falcinelli: We’re going to call it the Frankatelli maker

The BeeBo was apparently made by VillaWare, which is part of Jarden, headquartered in Rye, N.Y. Jarden has over 20,000 employees worldwide. Sounds like Jarden ought to get talking to the Franks, who run Frankies Spuntino in Brooklyn.
