Pac Sun Leverages Brand Promotions This Season | Brand Scout

ANAHEIM, Calif. – The mall and online retailer Pacsun is releasing collection after collection this fall with branded labels and in house labels. Top sellers including the in house FOG, or Fear of God collection, which sells out when it gets to stores. On a busy Saturday Labor Day weekend, the store was packed with new fall promotions.

Pacsun partners with the brands to offer curated collections and new versions of products, with creative collaborations. This summer, the chain has fashion oriented brand collections in store including Land Rover, Budweiser, Playboy, Adidas and North Face. A personal fashion line promotion is Kendall & Kylie’s Exclusive Collection, which will celebrate a decade this year, and went live on Pacsun’s website in July.

Fresh looks included the LA Hearts Cinched Bodice Swing Dress, and other gingham-type light dresses. Unfortunate in the mix is the unwholesome Playboy brand, which does not spin well with other outdoorsy brands, and a fairly wholesome approach to 2021 teen fashion trends.

Pacsun, founded in 1980 in Newport, Calif., describes itself as a leading specialty retailer offering a cross section of emerging brands and trending fashion through the lens of youth culture. The company puts itself in the contemporary, streetwear and active lifestyle markets.
