McDonald’s Speedee Sign in Interior Design

As a brand updates its look, and signage, the previous incarnations of the design can be interior motifs. This serves two purposes. It helps the consumer know the story of the brand, and it helps the company tell the story of design in a different way.

If company rebrands, and need to get rid of old signage as per some corporate mandate, this can be an opportunity to not throw out the old.

Here, a McDonald’s interior on Route 41, Tamiami Trail, in Venice, Florida. The design includes a lit neon McDonald’s sign as its centerpiece.

Note: The McDonald’s was rebuilt. The sign is no longer there.
