Bromwell Popcorn Poppers, Tin Cups and Camping Accessories

Established 1819, maker of authentic American productsTEMPE, Arizona – One of America’s oldest houseware brands, Jacob Bromwell, is doing it the old-school way. The U.S. company is still making retrograde products such as tin cups, frying pans, chimney flue covers and fireplace popcorn poppers. The products are handcrafted, and made in a historically correct fashion, much like Colonial Williamsburg reproductions.

The company was established in 1819 and is believed to be North America’s oldest existing housewares company.

Jacob Bromwell products were used by the first settlers in the West. “Strictly speaking, we’re not in the product business,” said Sean Bandawat, the company’s founder, in a press release.“What we’re really selling is an emotional journey: away from the madness of modern life and into nostalgia, tradition, and the longing for a simpler era.”

The company still handcrafts products the same exact way, with the same authentic materials, and in the same original tradition, as it was done nearly 200 years ago. “Everything is authentic about this company,” said Bandawat in the release.  “Our products are still made with American hands.  Even our logo represents the man’s own mark, made with his own hand.”

Management will not outsource production to low-wage labor countries to reduce costs because it has faith in the creativity and productivity of American workers.  The company is managed by a team of USC graduates with offices in Phoenix and Los Angeles.
