People: Matarazzo at Cubocx; White at MediaCom; Deaton at Home Depot

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Cubocx, a full service creative agency specializing in branding, advertising, and product design, added André Matarazzo as partner and executive creative director. For more than 20 years Matarazzo has worked across a multitude of market segments and four continents.  He’s held long-term leadership positions at some of the world’s most renowned global creative agencies including Flag, Sid Lee, SapientNitro and McCann-Erickson. Matarazzo began his career in 1997 at McCann Brazil, later creating the digital agency Gringo, sold to WPP.

  • MediaCom has named Justin White as its new Global Client President. White, seen at right, joins from Publicis Groupe, where he has worked for the last decade, most recently as Global Client Lead on The Coca-Cola Company and Head of Business Intelligence and Client Performance, delivering strong results in terms of client performance. He also previously led Publicis Media’s Global Client Practice. MediaCom is one of the world’s leading media communications specialists, with billings of US$17.6 billion employing 8,000 people in 125 offices across 100 countries.
  • Fremont, Calif.-based Tailored Brands, Inc. hired Brandy Richardson as Chief Financial Officer, effective November 8, 2021. The company is the parent of Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, Moores Clothing and K&G Fashion Superstore. She recently served as the Executive Vice President and CFO at Neiman Marcus Group.
  • Atlanta-based The Home Depot named John Deaton as executive vice president of Supply Chain and Product Development, effective November 1, 2021. He replaces Mark Holifield, who has accepted a role as CEO of a U.S.-based last-mile delivery firm after 15 years with the company. Deaton began his career with The Home Depot in 2007 as vice president of supply chain development
  • McCann Worldgroup said that Alex Lopez will join the network as President & Global Chief Creative Officer. Lopez arrives from Nike, where he held several global leadership posts, including Vice President, Global Marketing, Men’s Creative Director at Nike and Co-Founder and Global Head Of Studio at Waffle Iron Entertainment.
